When these needles, known as “silk,” are perpendicular to the axis, it is possible to observe an optical phenomenon known as <\/span>Asterism<\/span><\/i> or<\/span> chatoyancy<\/span><\/i> , commonly known as “star” and “cat’s eye,” consists of an optical phenomenon in which a star-shaped reflection or a band of light is observed moving when the cabochon-cut stone is rotated.<\/span> <\/p>\n

One of the terms used to describe a ruby \u200b\u200bthat, due to inclusions, is not completely transparent is “massive,” a term also used to describe the rough stone and\/or one accompanied by zoisite.
