We present our elegant cat’s eye chrysoberyl ring, a minimalist piece in which the gem, gold and textures create a set of stylized and synthetic lines where less is more. With golden and ochre tones, the colors of the gem and gold create a monochrome with bright notes in which the different finishes contrast; matte and with an interlaced texture on the upper part of the ring, polished on the mouth and the lower part of the ring. <\/span><\/p>\n

It owes its name to the Greek \u03c7\u03c1\u03c5\u03c3\u03cc\u03c2 (<\/span>chrysos<\/span><\/i> , “golden”) and \u03b2\u03ae\u03c1\u03c5\u03bb\u03bb\u03bf\u03c2 (<\/span> b\u0113ryllos<\/span><\/i> , “beryllium”) in reference to its color and composition, and its varieties known as<\/span> Cymophane<\/span><\/i> and<\/span> Alexandrite<\/span><\/i> are considered precious stones. The <\/span>Cimofana<\/span><\/i> , known as<\/span> Cat’s Eye<\/span><\/i>The stone that is the protagonist of our ring is a translucent variety, which can be of yellow or bluish tones. Its name comes from the classical Greek \u03c6\u03b1\u03bd\u03cc\u03c2, phan\u00f3s, light, and k\u00fbma, wave, a term coined by a French mineralogist in reference to the litmus effect that can be observed in it and for which tubular microstructures or rutile inclusions perpendicular to the axis are responsible. This changing variety, as we can see in our ring, is usually cabochon cut so that its reflections can be better appreciated.<\/span><\/p>\n
