18k gold brooch/pendant, with fired enamel, hand-painted

It depicts a Georgian lady wearing a blue cap and a low-cut dress, in keeping with the fashion of the late Rococo period. The oval frame, adorned with a classical Greek key pattern, reinforces the Neoclassical aesthetic so popular at the time.
